Alexis Desgagnés' presentation to photo students at Concordia University

Thank you to Montreal-based photographer and writer Alexis Desgagnés for a thoughtful and generous presentation today to Concordia students in Photographic Visions: Theory and Practice II. Alexis discussed his past experiences as artistic director of VU Photo in Quebec City and his current work as assistant editor of the stunning Canadian photography magazine Ciel Variable, as well as topics such as producing photo books, writing about photography, developing artist communities, and taking intiative to find creative and authentic ways to survive in the arts.  Best quote: "You are artists.
