San Francisco Camerawork Benefit Auction

I’ve donated a print of Rear Bedroom, Oliver Bronson House to the San Francisco Camerawork Benefit Auction taking place this Saturday, October 28 with bidding at 6pm.  The Oliver Bronson House was first built for Samuel Plumb in 1812 and is registered as a historic landmark and managed by Historic Hudson who gave me access to the house in Fall 2016.  Tickets to the auction and a full catalog of works are available on SF Camerawork’s website.

2017 FL3TCH3R Exhibit: Social and Politically Engaged Art at the Reece Museum at ETSU

Cathy, Market Street, 2011 and Brandi, Straight Street, 2012 from PATERSON are included in the 2017 FL3TCH3R Exhibit: Social and Politically Engaged Art juried by Canadian artist and illustrator Anita Kunz at the Reece Museum at East Tennessee State University. This group show of work by international artists investigating societal and political concerns through various media is on view from October 9 - December 15. Juror Anita Kunz will be visiting ETSU for a week for the reception on Thursday, October 26 and meetings & critiques with students and faculty. In its fifth year, this annual juried exhibition was established by Barbara and Wayne Dyer to honor the memory of their son Fletcher, who passed away in 2009 in a motorcycle accident, and his passion for commentary and activism through art.

10th Julia Margaret Cameron Award International Photography Exhibition opens October 3rd in Barcelona

Yellow House was a runner-up in the Landscapes Category for this year's Julia Margaret Cameron Award.  The 10th JMCA International Photography Exhibition of work by finalists opens on Tuesday, October 3rd with a reception on Thursday, October 5th at Galeria Valid Foto in Barcelona, Spain. Curator Analy Werbin and Exhibition Director Julio Hirsch-Hardy speculate that this group show, featuring 171 photographs by 77 artists, will be the largest exhibition of work by women photographers ever.
