PATERSON exhibition at Baxter Street at the CCNY opening Saturday, June 6th

Jhozali, Straight Street, Paterson, NJ, 2014

An exhibition of 12 prints from my Paterson portrait series is opening on June 6th at Baxter Street at the Camera Club of New York's new gallery space in Chinatown.  This solo show is the culmination of my workspace residency last spring in New York before I left the country for a teaching position in Canada.  The portrait of Jhozali on Straight Street in May 2014 is the last photograph I shot in Paterson.  Thank you to the community of Paterson for making this work possible and to the CCNY and Jerome Foundation for supporting the production of these exhibitions prints.

For those in New York, I hope you will be able to join me for the opening on Saturday, June 6th from 6-8pm at 126 Baxter Street.  The show will be on view for three weeks until Saturday, June 27th.  More information can be found on the Baxter Street at the CCNY's website: Paterson Exhibition.

Feature Shoot: The Swap

Portraits that Berlin-based artist Kerstin Honeit and I shot of one another on an afternoon exploring Manhattan's east side in March 2014 are included in Feature Shoot's write-up on The Swap, a portrait exchange curated by Stuart Pilkington.
